plan a: women empowered
the plan
Plan A Women Empowered was an event created by MPACT Entertainment and Events dedicated to showcasing women in film. The campaign consisted of multiple Instagram posts, including a Valentine’s Day special ticket price & notification to live stream the event (which attracted over 200 viewers). IG stories were conceptualized as well as headers for Twitter and LinkedIn. The clients wanted something that exuded a ‘Playbill’ look. Researching the aesthetics of theatre publication design led me to discover that dynamic colors, giant sans serif fonts, and cut-outs were prominent. The event sold out and even oversold tickets.

Making a plan
In addition to redesigning the social media posts, MPACT needed a new social media campaign to promote Plan A Women Empowered. Previous Women in Film series had minimal social media advertisements, only Instagram posts and word of mouth. They decided they wanted to go for a dramatic look at the posts and banners. A campaign that exuded an aesthetic reminiscent of “Playbill.”

the valentine's day special
In an effort to increase ticket sales, MPACT came up with a Valentine’s Day promotion. They wanted to promote the campaign on social media and reached out to me for assistance. I immediately got to work and created a compelling social media post that highlighted the promotion’s key features and benefits. The post included eye-catching visuals and a clear call-to-action to encourage users to purchase tickets. I made sure to use language that resonated with the target audience and conveyed the excitement and value of the promotion. Overall, I was pleased with the final product and confident that it would help MPACT achieve their sales goals.
