Actress and CEO of MPACT Entertainment and Events, Brittany Marie Batchelder, had a big year between 2019 and 2020. Two Planned A: Women in Film events and landed a role as Joanna Crawford on TNT’s The Alienist: Angel of Darkness.

Process

After gathering all assets, I got down to researching. In an article from Backstage.com, one needs a headshot, bio, Latest news, Video clips or reel, printable downloads, contact info, straightforward navigation, mobile-friendly design.

After I got an idea of how I wanted the site to flow, I began sketching the layout mobile-first.

I wanted to go with a clean magazine aesthetic. I drew inspiration from other actors’ websites and magazines like Vogue and Elle.

For the navigation, the links to each page are the Home page where she has upcoming news, a short introduction to her bio, three additional links to the Actress, Model and, Entrepreneur pages, and the footer on all pages with copyright info and social media links. Bio, which includes the full biography, actress, which provides for headshots, video clips her reel and IMDb link, model that includes images from both campaign and commercial shoots, entrepreneur, including images and articles regarding MPACT events, and contact.
